How to install your van racking kit.
Follow these steps before final fixing. Dry fit the kit first, pre-drill all fixing holes, glue the joints and then secure the completed unit safely in your van.
Pre-drill all holes
Once dry fitted, pre-drill all holes before inserting screws. A 2mm drill bit is recommended to reduce splitting and make assembly cleaner.
Glue all joints
Apply PVA glue to the joints during assembly. This helps stiffen the finished racking and keeps the kit solid in daily van use.
Fix with the supplied screws
Use the supplied screws for fixing the racking panels and shelves together. Do not overtighten; the screws should pull the joint tight without damaging the ply.
Secure it in your van
Fix the assembled racking to your van using an appropriate method for your vehicle and layout, or use the 888VanRacking fitting kit with brackets and fixing screws.
