WEEKEND Removable Campervan Sofa Bed & Kitchen Pod
Combine a sliding sofa bed, kitchen pull-out and separate utility pull-out in one plywood furniture kit. The WEEKEND pod can be removed after releasing the restraints chosen for your installation.
Made in the UK by 888CamperWorks, supplied as an unfinished plywood flat-pack kit for assembly.
Dimensions and construction

- Material: 18 mm plywood.
- Finish: natural plywood, supplied unfinished.

Sliding bed and installation
The bed uses an attached plywood comb deck, retained guides and a removable position key. Move the unloaded deck evenly and secure it in the closed or extended position as shown in the assembly guide. Allow room for the complete movement when planning your interior.
Cushions and mattresses are separate. This furniture is for use when parked; it is not a travelling passenger seat or a seat-belt mounting. No tested load rating is stated. Each module needs structural restraints suited to the actual vehicle.
Pull-out surfaces
The included kitchen and utility trays use locking runners with 711.2 mm nominal travel. Allow rear access and full extension space. The trays have no appliance cut-outs; cooker, sink, water system, appliance restraints and heat protection are separate. Runner specifications are not a load rating for the assembled bed or kitchen.
Removal requires emptying the unit and releasing your vehicle fittings. No vehicle-specific quick-release system is included; plan lifting and access for your finished installation.
Plan your fit
Measure your finished van interior, wheel arches, access openings and remaining walkways before ordering. These are generic square-backed furniture dimensions; no named-vehicle fit is claimed. Follow the guide and choose suitable structural mounting points. Secure the furniture and loose contents for travel.
Vehicle-specific restraints, appliances, cushions, plumbing, electrical equipment, tools and finishing products are separate. Seal plywood faces and exposed edges before use. Images are CAD renders of this design; wood grain varies and some views omit doors or hardware to show the construction.

Fit check Make sure it fits before you order Guide
- Measure the usable side-wall width. Check clear space from the bulkhead area towards the rear doors, allowing for trim, tie-down points and any existing lining.
- Measure available height from the van floor. Make sure the selected height clears roof ribs, windows, handles and anything mounted on the side wall.
- Check the depth works in your layout. Confirm it will not clash with doors, tools, wheel arch position or the space you need down the centre of the van.
