Buying van racking in Crieff? Here are the checks that matter.
Which Transit Custom racking should I buy?
Start with the generation: the listed MK1 range is 2013–2023 and MK2 is 2024 onwards. Then match wheelbase, body layout and the side you want to rack. Check the individual product’s dimensions against your finished load area. Choose divided shelving for smaller items, case storage for tool cases, or a mixed layout for both.
Does one rack fit every Transit Custom?
No. Generation, wheelbase, double-cab seats, lining and fitted equipment affect usable space. A product listed for a particular layout still needs a measurement check. If your model year is around a generation change, or the fitment notes do not match your van, contact us before ordering.
What material is the racking made from?
CONTOUR units use 12 mm natural plywood with an unfinished surface. Other Transit Custom shelving can have different material choices, including PLY and Black Hex on the standard MK2 product. Check the individual listing for thickness, finish and current options.
Is the racking supplied assembled or fitted?
The kits are supplied flat packed for assembly and fitting. This page is for ordering racking online; it does not include a local installation service. Check the product’s supplied-parts list, read the installation instructions and choose mounting fixings appropriate to your van.
Can I order for delivery to Crieff?
