For an Oxford campervan conversion, use this guide to compare a coordinated kitchen-and-lounge kit with separate kitchen furniture. The important measurement is the usable route through the van after the bed, cabinet doors and planned equipment are included.

Furniture layouts to compare
Use the current product drawings and pack contents alongside this guide. Compare the sleeping footprint, usable storage and space needed to open doors before choosing your finish.

U-shaped kit with fridge drawer
A kitchen, U-shaped lounge and removable bed infills in a 1400 × 2261 mm footprint. Plywood or Black Hex. Fridge, cushions and mattress are separate.

U-shaped kit with kitchen fridge bay
A 1400 × 2261 mm kitchen-and-lounge layout with a fixed fridge opening and power-station storage cupboard. Appliances are separate; check their installation requirements.
Browse all U-shaped conversion kits, or compare separate kitchens and cupboards and overhead storage. Product images are renders; the listings show current options and prices.
Add a kitchen while protecting the central walkway
Draw the remaining width
Subtract the actual cabinet depth and the opposite furniture footprint from the finished interior width. Repeat the check where handles, trim or a wheel arch project into the passage. The NOMAD 900 slim unit has a different footprint from the larger kitchen layouts. Choose by the complete arrangement instead of comparing cabinet widths in isolation.
Protect one clear work surface
Place the intended appliance and food containers on a full-size paper worktop outline. Mark any lid or door movement, then identify a clear area for preparation. If you are planning a sink or hob, use its installation template before deciding on cut-outs. Supplied plain worktops give you a starting surface; equipment and installation are separate decisions.
Prepare your Oxford conversion enquiry
Send the van make, model, year, wheelbase and roof height, the kit you are considering and your finished measurements. Include:
- Remaining passage width at its narrowest point
- Door movement on both sides of the walkway
- Unallocated worktop space after equipment
State the receiving postcode and whether any floor, lining or equipment measurements are still provisional. Use the contact form, call 0330 043 2427 or email contact@888VanRacking.co.uk.
Delivery and Medway collection
For delivery to Oxford, enter your full postcode at checkout and check the service for the selected kit. Provide access details for a home or workshop delivery and leave time to inspect and assemble the furniture before your first trip.
The featured conversion-kit listings offer £80 pallet delivery where that service is available, or free Medway collection by arrangement. Confirm service and price for Highland, island or restricted-access addresses. Rates for other furniture depend on the item and address. Check the shipping policy and your checkout options, or ask us to confirm delivery and lead time.
Before choosing your kit
Should I choose the longest kitchen that fits?
Only if the remaining layout works. A shorter or shallower unit may preserve more useful access and bed space. Compare the complete floor plan before choosing cabinet size.
What work and equipment should I plan separately?
These are furniture kits. Check the chosen listing for assembly hardware and optional catches or fitting packs. Appliances, cushions, mattress and table support are separate on the featured kits. Confirm your vehicle fit and structural mounting arrangements. Use the lounge and bed while parked; they are not travelling passenger seats.
