This Bath conversion guide compares storage layouts while considering finishing access. Natural plywood and Black Hex need different treatment, and exposed edges, hidden faces and furniture joints are easier to consider before the kit is assembled.

Furniture layouts to compare
Use the current product drawings and pack contents alongside this guide. Compare the sleeping footprint, usable storage and space needed to open doors before choosing your finish.

U-shaped kit with cupboard storage
A kitchen and lounge with a fixed cupboard beneath the front of the right bench. Overall footprint 1400 × 2261 mm; plywood or Black Hex.

Compact LWB bed and storage kit
U-shaped seating, cupboard storage and a 1400 × 2000 mm bed footprint. Allow the full 2000 mm length and at least 1420 mm finished interior width.
Browse all U-shaped conversion kits, or compare separate kitchens and cupboards and overhead storage. Product images are renders; the listings show current options and prices.
Choose a finish you can maintain after installation
Identify the surfaces you need to reach
Mark exposed edges, worktop faces and areas that may be hard to access after fitting. Check the selected material and finish instructions before sealing or coating anything. Black Hex has a finished face, but exposed plywood edges still need attention. Allow suitable drying time and keep finishing products away from hardware and moving joints as directed.
Keep maintenance access in the layout
Try opening doors with bedding and other furniture in place. Record which hinges, catches and mounting points you will need to reach later. A removable panel can be useful only if the furniture design allows it; do not remove a structural part simply to make servicing easier. Choose cupboard positions that let routine adjustments happen without dismantling the interior.

Delivery and Medway collection
For delivery to Bath, enter your full postcode at checkout and check the service for the selected kit. Provide access details for a home or workshop delivery and leave time to inspect and assemble the furniture before your first trip.
The featured conversion-kit listings offer £80 pallet delivery where that service is available, or free Medway collection by arrangement. Confirm service and price for Highland, island or restricted-access addresses. Rates for other furniture depend on the item and address. Check the shipping policy and your checkout options, or ask us to confirm delivery and lead time.
Before choosing your kit
Does Black Hex remove the need for any finishing work?
Its phenolic face differs from unfinished plywood, but exposed edges and installation details still need suitable care. Follow the selected product specification and the finishing product instructions.
What work and equipment should I plan separately?
These are furniture kits. Check the chosen listing for assembly hardware and optional catches or fitting packs. Appliances, cushions, mattress and table support are separate on the featured kits. Confirm your vehicle fit and structural mounting arrangements. Use the lounge and bed while parked; they are not travelling passenger seats.
